There are tons of industrial chemicals people are using in their day-to-day life. Sulfuric acid is most important industrial chemicals. By the chemical industry, it is one of the very important compounds made. Due to its thickness, its main use is in the production of fertilizers, e.g., superphosphate of lime & ammonium sulfate. It is a chemical that is an oily liquid. It is not expensive & is used widely. It is soluble in water & is an ingredient of acid rain.

- In preparing paints & pigments. A lot of the pigments used in paints are sulfates, e.g., barium & lead sulfates.
- In the metallurgical procedure for the purification of metals by electrolysis where sulphuric acid is normally used in the bath.
- In the production of explosives such as guncotton, nitroglycerine, T.N.T., etc.

- Sulfuric Acid Uses in the Industry: For the manufacture of aluminum sulfate, it is used in diverse industries such as – wastewater processing, processing of minerals, production of cleaning agents, producing explosives, detergents & paper industry. It is used in petroleum refining to wash impurities out of gasoline & additional refinery products.
- Sulfuric Acid Uses Drugs: By the manufacture of chemotherapy drugs, used to harm the cancerous cell DNA. To treat various skin infections, it is used in ointments. It is the essential ingredient of topical ointment named Debacterol in the treatment of canker sores.
- Metal Processing: In the manufacture of copper, it is widely used in metal processing for example & the manufacture of zinc, and in cleaning the surface of steel sheets, known as ‘pickling’.
- Production of Fertilizers: The superphosphate of lime is mixed with ammonium sulfate when used in the production of fertilizers. Hydrochloric acid, pigments, detergents, nitric acid, & sulfate salts are everyone made using sulfuric acid, & rayon & over-the-counter medications can also, include sulfuric acid.
