First, Make Sure Your Battery Is Clean-
- When working with batteries, make sure you have on safety glasses and rubber gloves.
- Remove the solution from the battery terminals by rinsing thoroughly. Do not let the solution touch the battery.
Do an Electrolyte Level Check on Every Battery (every one to two weeks)-
- Except if they are "dry" and the plates are exposed, batteries should constantly be recharged AFTER a full charge. Alternatively, fill only the top of the leaves with water, as this is the bare minimum.
